Woman's Facebook Post About Dress Code Going Viral ? Woman Catcalled While Wearing a Parka
A New York City girl is shining a spotlight on the unwelcome interest ladies and women deal with — and why "how you get dressed" doesn't make a difference.
Nearly 6,000 humans have preferred Christen Brandt's Facebook publish, and almost 3,000 have shared the image. In it, Brandt suggests the outfit she changed into sporting while catcalled these days.
Brandt stated she become strolling thru a crowded subway station when a stranger commented on her appearance:
A guy passing by using me said, "Damn, you've got a few splendid legs." When I neglected him and kept strolling, he turned around to observe me, to get nearer, whilst I become shifting away. "Did you listen me, honey? I said you have great legs. Damn! Thank you."
"It became the 'thank you' that got me," she keeps. "As if my 5 inches of legging-blanketed skin had been there for him. Given as a gift wrapped in brown tights. Existing in the international for him to realize, or not."
